Rivals has about 9 or 10 schools, most BCS, who had shown interest in him.

Not possible to tell who else offered although Scout.com shows NIU and two I-AA schools.

Coach English proves once again that he is in complete control. While everyone was fretting about not getting a QB, he comes up with the best possible scenario. Great pickup!

ESPN still shows him as being committed to Eastern Kentucky.
I'm sure they're just slow at getting things updated though.

good find! this is exciting. hopefully he sticks around for all 4-5 years. we've had a rough run of QBs leaving early.

So when English said in his video discussing signing day he mentioned that he wasn't recruiting a QB by design? I guess he was bluffing. I wouldn't want to play poker with him. :0)

I'm glad we got a quality recruit at QB. We've gotten a lot of players from the Dayton Cincy area in the past.

Last I heard (and I've been out of FB recruiting mode for over a month) is that he was going to Fresno City C.C.

I'll Google "Mike B*ker" and probably won't find much...

I believe Marcus English was from Trotwood, Trotwood usually has several Div I players each year, its a solid program.

I assume that English used that free scholarship for a QB.
