But as we all know, "Zones don't work."

For awhile I thought I was watching a WMU game. Iona had a lot of good looks, damn near layups, and they missed them. Couldn't hit a free throw if their life depended on it.

Well, I guess this validates Hawk. Zones don't work.

Zones suck. I feel bad for Iona.

Machado is an NBA point guard IMO. He needs to work on his outside shot. But he runs, defends and distributes as well as any PG in the country. I'd list him in the top 5 PG's in college.

He made some passes against WMU in Puerto Rico that were just sick. He had 17 points and 15 flipping assists against us.

He owned BYU, and then just disappeared late. Almost like they stopped going to him.

Their player rotation has changed a bit. They started Smyth against us and he hit 7 threes in 30+ mins of playing time. He got 6 total mins last night and got off 1 three, and missed it.

Iona runs real well, but they don't like to play defense. When they couldn't get shots to fall, it was all downhill from there.
