Matt Doherty out at SMU
Darrin Horn out at South Carolina
Bruce Weber out at Illinois

UC had a common recruit with SMU, Blaise Mbargorba, 7 footer. Kid committed to SMU. Not sure UC's interest was very high though.

Weber inherited a Bill Self gold mine, but after Self's guys were gone he didn't do much.

I hope Mack's name isn't mentioned with any of them. I want him at Xavier for a long, long time. I think the program nosedives with him at the helm.

Don't tell Tom Izzo that.

Weber was the anti-Cronin (Crean or Drew). He took over a program flush with talent and flushed the program down the toilet.

Don't tell Tom Izzo that.

Izzo is funny, but not that smart to pull the wool over our eyes.
With his own players Weber has won 1 ncaa tourney game in the last 6 years,
and has made the tourney 50% of the time. Izzo knows he can dominate Illinois with Weber as the coach. BlG is a better conference now with Painter,
Matta, Beilen, and IU with Crean. I think Izzo publicly shed a tear when Amaker got **** canned at Michigan also. 03-lmfao

RE: Tracking the head coach firings/hirings
So has Shaka Smart put himself in position for the Illinois job?

This article suggest UAB pursuing Andy Kennedy. They say it's a step down in conference affiliation, but he would stand a better chance of putting together a winning program that could go further at UAB.

Ole Miss is among the worst BCS level basketball jobs IMO.

That man has under performed so much, I don't know why UAB would want him.

Has to be somebody at the mid major level, that doesn't carry a thick, inky blanket, of failure and depression around with them.

wasn't Weber the coach that printed up a fake headline and posted it on the illinois locker room bulletin board right before an NCAA game between Illinois and UC? Seems to me that it was Weber that was involved in that. I lost any respect for him after that.

Maybe they are hiring AK as part of a middle eastern anti-defamation initiative to educate that calling people sand ni##ers is actually a term of endearment among friends in the deep south.
