What bowl would you like to go to?
For this poll forget about if we make it back to the MACC, if we win it and even the slim possibility of going undefeated.

Which of the MAC tie-in bowl games would you most like to attend for the 2012 season?

GoDaddy. Hands down, the best bowl experience I've had in all the NIU bowls starting with the SVB in 2004.

I've never been to Detroit for a game. I'd like to have a bowl close enough to drive to just once, hoping some extra peeps would make the trip.

I picture a bowl victory over a Big Ten team, and then me cleaning up at the casino in Greektown...

How early did the official fan festivities start?

We didn't get to Mobile until late Friday. But, I believe there were some official festivities as early as Thursday.

So you got a good bowl experience by staying in town for 2 full days not counting travel days? That seems like the max I could afford.

I had the vacation time but I didn't have any extra money that I could spend. So this year I am saving up just for a bowl but it will still depend on all the expenses.

Yeah, Saturday and Sunday was it for us. Plenty of things to do in the Gulf Coast area if we'd had the time and money for a longer stay.

All of those cities suck except for Mobile, but Detroit is close and Windsor isn't very far away from there either.

I would go to the other cities only if I were entered into a witness protection program.

Boise was actually very nice and, although I haven't been there myself, I've heard Albuquerque is also.

I put in St. Pete just because it would only be a 45 minute drive for me. People would have a great time at the Gulf beaches there.

Mobile was great and I'd love to back there. Actually, I've heard all those other towns are pretty good, except for Detroit and maybe Birmingham. And even Detroit brings in a good crowd and is closest to Chi/DeKalb.

I picked St. Pete's just for going to the beach. Who knows, maybe some deep-sea fishing.

I think just seeing that the bowl game would be in FL, would attract some more NIU fans especially help with some recruiting there. I voted for St. Pete.

I was in St Pete a couple nights ago and would love to go back. Stayed at the Intercontinental Hotel with really nice mall across the way, and less than an hour's drive to Sarasota and the Keys.

Anyways, I'm moving to New Orleans this summer so I'll take the GoDaddy or any bowl in the south.

The Spring game is over a month away, and we're now talking bowl preferences?

Why limit yourself to measly, paltry MAC bowls? Let's shoot for the national championship!!!

Nope. I have only been to the North West corner of Alabama and that was to work 18hrs shift on night shift for 4 days at the Toys-R-Us warehouse. We left town exhausted.

Its no worse than the other crazy discussions going on between here and the MAC board.

You didn't read my first post...only tie in bowls and not thinking about the slim chance of a undefeated season...though I like where you are going with this!
