Has to be the motivational speech of the season, right or wrong.

I've never been a big Bobby Knight fan, but I was touched yesterday when he told Brent Musberger that he had been in basketball for more than 50 years, and his son's team getting to the NCAA was the biggest thrill he had ever experienced. And you could tell he was sincere. One thing about Bobby Knight. Love him or hate him, he doesn't mince words. He says what he thinks, and you don't have to worry about whether he's telling the truth or not. Interesting guy. And great coach. Anyone who has kids can appreciate what he said.

I heard his response yesterday after winning. He said he not only threw them under the bus, he drove the bus. But he said he knew they were tough kids and would respond positively. I have no problem with a coach going off on kids in the locker room. I don't quite believe it's the type of thing you do in public. But everyone thinks differently. I guess if you play for a Knight, you know what you're getting. Tough love.04-cheers
