As bad as UCONN played down the stretch, we almost took them out twice. Two losses with combine score of 5. Impressed with CUSE? Not really. I expect a lot more dominating performance from a team supposedly much better than everyone else in the BE.

Apparently, some UCONN players aren't too impressed with CUSE either.

Then maybe they should have beat us. 03-lmfao

Says a lot about your team this year. Your players whine after a loss. 03-lmfao

When someone is claiming a team is head and shoulder above everyone else, should they be playing close games or even losing? Especially on their make believe home away from home?

He said that on the Cuse Board...you know where like fans congregate and say things like that. BTW, Cuse up till tonight did play head and shoulder above the other teams. Cuse made a serious comeback and didn't quit tonight...this game won't hurt them.

Yeah playing the #3 ranked SOS has nothing to do with bunch of losses or the fact Calhoun was gone for a whole month 01-wingedeagle

For the record, UCONN's RPI is fifth in the BE (#33) and BE record is 10-10. Bubble? Please...

8-10 is more like it.01-wingedeagle

You do realize that had SU played the #1 rated rpi team (SU) in the nation 3 times that SU would also have a top 5 rated sos. Unfortunately the Huskies could not live up to expectations and sucked this year. In other words, SU helped your sos far, and away more than Uconn helped SU's sos. 01-wingedeagle

SF....let it go man. You guys can still make a run in the ncaa...good grief.

Clearly Cuse was THE team in the Big East this year, clearly Cuse is a LEGIT top 3 team. Their record, even with this loss is incredible. Their team is amazingly good...the run they went on in the last five to eight minutes of the game showed how game they are...they almost pulled it out. They have heart and toughness and I fully expect them to make a run in the ncaa tourney.

Just give the credit where it's due and stop being bitter....

Never said they are a bad team, but head and shoulder above rest of the BE? That was the only hypocrisy I want to point out and that was to one poster only.

In a few hours they'll move on to their Finals opponent." However, I never even bothered to hit "Post" because I thought my sentiments to be obvious. Now I return less than 2 hours later and the thread has degenerated into 5 pages of vitriol. I'll again congratulate the Bearcats faithful on their team's superior effort & performance. Everything else in this thread though... goodness! Good luck Bearcats! You have a great team & an even better fanbase.

Thanks KC.

I don't know how anyone watched that game and came away thinking Syracuse is overrated. I was thinking, "Man if THAT's what it takes to beat them by 3, they may win the title." UC is on fire right now and shot the lights out in the first half. Syracuse might now have played their best game there, but they may not face shooting like that again this season.
