MyBB Big South Scheduling for next year
I've received word about the guidelines for how conference games will be scheduled next year...

- Two divisions:
North:VMI/Radford/Longwood/Liberty/High Point/Campbell;
South: Gardner-Webb/UNCA/Presbyterian/Winthrop/Coastal/CSU

- 16 conf games (two vs each div opponent, one vs each cross division opponent)

- Wednesday/Saturday games for the most part (except for extreme travel like CSU-VMI)

- Cross-divisional games on Saturdays

- Last 5 conference games will be vs division opponents

- No more than 3 consecutive games home or away

- Each team will have 4 Saturday home games

- Play every team before a repeat game

Still don't know if standings will be shown in separate divisions or combined #1-#12. I hope they show it #1-#12....might depend on tournament format.

RE: Big South Scheduling for next year
The SoCon does that split north/south standings board and it is a dumpster fire. This year the number 1 and 2 teams from the north got a bye in the tournament and neither one would have finished higher than fifth in the south. So that left a 12-6 team playing on opening night for a chance to play a 9-9 team. Just dumb.

Because of the unbalanced schedule, the only way to seed it is by split divisions. SEC did it for years that way, as well.
