Northwestern lost to Minnesota and will not be going to the NCAA again (unless a very unlikely scenario should unfold). But I do not feel sorry for them. 26 of their 57 shots were from the arc, so their game is totally one-dimensional. They got beat on the boards 41 to 24, because with their white-collar style they just will not mix it up in the middle. No, I do not feel sorry for them. Maybe some day they will be willing to get their hands dirty and win the big games.

I feel a little sorry for them, but not a whole lot. They just had to beat a pretty bad Minnesota team to get in. They had a lead a blew it. No one to blame but themselves.
