Unsung Hero for the Ladies
I'm so proud of Britteni Williams. She was an important piece to us finishing strong. The thing that makes me proud is that she was pretty much did not get many minutes through her first three seasons but she stuck it out and became a starter. I really believe that she made the young team jell and made our defense tougher.

You're right Alum, I look at her a lot like I did Gus for our men's team last year. Neither contributed much early on, but made a big difference late in the season. He and she played so well down the stretch and in the tournaments. I give both a whole lot of credit for the ultimate success of both teams. Britteni gave us that clutch basket and rebound quite often, and was very good defensively.

And what a classy young lady she is, as those of us at the Tip In luncheon awhile back discovered. She epitomizes what a student athlete should be.
