But we are still talking about a player that went 31-4 against the MAC in 4 years. Took his team to a bowl game all 4 years, going 2-2. In short, he shredded the MAC.

(I will now throw up in my mouth as I have defended CMU)

Aside from his 4-0 record against WMU (!) my second favorite stat is that Lefevour went 14-0 against the state of Ohio. We hit lightning in a bottle with him. I would settle for half the results he produced.

As good as he was his backup Brian Brunner was pretty close. He just hardly got to see the field.
