Who will emerge out of the pack to really
be our go to guy next year.? We know Chucky and Will, assuming he's healthy, will be pretty stout. We know Javes will be improved and Gus should be ready, but they're your inside warriors. Your go to guys in clutch situations are normallyt your one, two and three positions. Could the man be Ben, Taggart,Eric, or someone not on the radar this year such as a redshirt or freshman. We're losing our John Fowler blue collar warrior in Courtney, and our floor leader in Dre. But we do have some talent coming back.

I expect Chucky to be one of our team leaders. I see leadership type qualities in Taggart, And Will is a mature young man along with Gus, who will probably be among our locker room leaders. Chucky and Gus will be the only ones with NCAA experience, and I would assume they want to get back there, having had a taste of going. I'm not predicting how we'll do next year, but I think we have a chance to be good again. How good? Don't know yet, but I think we'll be ready by tournament time.04-cheers

All Chuck needs to do to fill the role is to shoot about 10,000 three-pointers over the summer to get his shot down.

Chucky will definitely be one of the go to guys for the next two seasons. I look for him to be as good or better than Solo his last two seasons. But I'm seeing a more team oriented player which is what we need.

Solo's 3-point shot was mediocre at best at USF. It only emerged after he got here. Chuck's game is pretty much a mirror of Solo's: acceptable point guard, but not brilliant, excellent penetrator and good FT shooter - IF he can bring around his 3-point shooting.

One advantage is that, IMO, he's already a better defensive player than Solo ever was. Solo hardly ever made steals on the perimeter, and got beat off the dribble a lot of times. Chucky is always a threat to steal the ball out front and take it all the way to the rim. I think Chucky is a better athlete than Solo. I've seen him even do standing back flips while horsing around. And he can jump out of the gym. He's definitely going to be one of the better guards in the Belt the next two seasons.
