NCAA tourny first glance
Just a few thoughts to start to consider some matchups and possible locations.
Locations: Nashville, Louisville, Greensboro, NC, Columbus, Pittsburgh, Omaha, Albuquerque, Portland
Possible matchups:
Marquette
Baylor
Wisconsin ( I don't think they'd do this)
Georgetown (may have been long enough to see them again)
Michigan
Indiana
FSU
Murray st. and Wichita St while ranked in this area, will be a lower seed than 3 or 4.
Currently, Lunardi has us #14 vs #3 Marquette in Columbus.
Hopefully the committee will recall that they sent us as far away as they could last year and keep us in Nashville or Louisville this year. ( I can dream can't I?)

Nashville would be ideal, but doubtful. Louisville and Greensboro would be great as well, even Columbus wouldn't be all that bad. History tells us that we'll probably end up in Portland.
What do you guys think our best team matchup is? I personally would love to not play Georgetown again...

You guys always got a shot with Byrd. Impressed with Ian Clark more than before as well. Marquette doesn't sound bad. Good luck, hope its a 14 seed or better. Maybe 13?

We could have used TSU beating Murray St. last weekend. The more crappy teams that get in, the better we look. I think we'll be a 14 this year.

I agree. I'll see what Byrd says about it in the luncheon today.

Lunardi has been proven to not be very good at what he does. This is the guy I follow. He's been much better than Lunardi the past few years. He has you guys as a 13 seed. If that happens, I hope we don't face you right off the bat. We're looking at a 4 or 5 from everything I've seen. I think you guys are better than a 13 though and could win a few games.
Best of luck.
