Huskie basketball could not have had a more dedicated family than the Storm family.Tyler has been a class act all four years he has been here and I'm sure it's just a reflection of the family he comes from.Tyler has earned my respect for all he has gone through with his back problems to sticking with the program for those times with a terrible situation with the previous coaching staff.Thanks Storm Family and tyler I know you will be a great success at whatever you choose to do.

I will miss Tyler and his dad. Class acts all the way. During a period when we had tumult and a devastating coach, Tyler and Coach Storm were there to add stability, reason, and class. Rest assured that both will be missed.

This is a game where I wish everyone could make it there and send Tyler and his family off the way he deserves on Sr. Night. I plan on finding Mr. Storm at some point tonight and personally passing on my thanks and best wishes to them. I've liked a lot of Huskies in the past, but maybe never wished so much better for one as much as for Storm.

Because it is senior night, I am planning on attending to give thanks to those seniors. I hope there is a bigger crowd tonight.

Really wish I could go, but I need to be up before the crack of dawn tomorrow to go out of town. (I hope Dawn's boyfriend doesn't mind!)

I wish I would have gotton on here right away at 1:30 this morning when we got home. What a great night. It was so awesome to see Tyler so happy that they could get the win on Sr. Night. We had a great meal at Fatty's with many family and friends, we took the opportunity to have our daughter sign her LOI to run track for Iowa State there with so many family and friends, and we got to enjoy a win. But, what I'll probably remember as much as anything is how supportive and appreciative people were! From the support when Tyler was introduced for the senior recognition to the many people who made the effort to share a few words (at Fatty's and at the Convocation Center), to the support at the end of the game as the Huskies celebrated. And, I'll remember how excited Tyler was for the win and how excited the team was for Tyler when they got it. Those things mean so much. And, obviously, after seeing the posts here, that just solidifies my knowledge of how many quality individuals are associated with NIU either directly or indirectly. Huskie Nation is something special, and it is only going to get better. We will always be part Huskie and will be back to watch the NIU basketball team continue to turn this around. Thanks to everyone again.

Coach and son have weathered the storms which have surrounded the program the past four seasons.
Congrats and thanx to both father and son for providing so many positives.
