Really? Did Kevin Jones have anything to do with what happened? Why punish a kid?

To start this voting is down by 16 head coaches across the league, not some Big East dictator held up in an office in Providence who individually has it out for WVU. As I mentioned for Dieng vs Melo, like it or not part of the deal is how your team performed. Marquette was a surprise finishing 2nd, while WVU was .500.

This.

One more week then these whiners can take the crying to the Big XII board where im su.re they will be welcomed with open arms and treated 100% fairly. 03-lmfao

Yeah, better than the guy who did something that only two other people in BE history have done. 01-wingedeagle

Well college card, I hope ULs players the awards they deserve when y'all announce your leaving the Big East

We'd have to see. I go back to what I think is key. It's the coaches voting, not the commish. Maybe a handful of coachces are resentful, but I bet most aren't. If anything take offense at the reliance on overall team finish if you think that isn't important.

Come on man, you know damn well the BE front office has some influence over the bball only schools.

You don't think those coaches are a little bitter about turning the best basketball league ever created into nothing more than Conference USA +?

Isiah Pead getting Offensive POY over Geno Smith was even worse than this.

Wait what? I'm pretty sure you need to take the tin foil off your head and stop sniffing lighter fluid. If anything they would be pissed at Cuse not WVU. We couldn't care less about the mountaineers. We're losing hillbillies and bringing in more urban schools. Also I thought the conspiracy was we told providence what to do not the other way around? Get your crazy theories straight!!! 01-wingedeagle

I finally see it....With WVU out of the league, St. Johns can actually have a shot at finishing in the top 10 in the Big East. Doesn't really matter to me, WVU is a better program than St. Johns anyway besides, the discussion was regarding the BE player of the year. Personally, I believe Jones should get the award. Without him, the Mountaineers would have been lucky to have a winning record, especially since they lost many to injury and have no depth. He performed against EVERYONE and EVERYONE knew they had to stop him...and they couldnt. Kevin Jones should be the Big East Player of the Year.

Whooped wvu the last two seasons and finished tied for third last year so we don't really see wvu as any sort of threat.
