In my mind, I put Courtney right in there with guys like Co Willis, Richard Hardman and John Fowler. And others I we could name. Hard-working, unspectacular players who put team first and just got it done. I am glad that it looks like Courtney will get two entries in the records section of the media guide for next season (career games and career rebounds), and is almost certain to be at least tied for the all-time career leader in games played. Hats off to a great Trojan.

Yes. He will also leave with an NCAA ring and hopefully, after tonight, 2 division championship rings. I think Courtney cares a lot more about that than any individual honors. Its that kind of attitude that makes us successful.

Courtney is the prime example of a team player, as Pappy says, in the mold of Co Willis, Richard Hardman and John Fowler, and you can't give a Trojan a higher compliment than being compared to those players. We'll miss Courtney next season.
