now...how do we get Gtown, Nova, SJU, Marquette, Prov, Depaul, ND and SH into this and make it all work?

There are two problems with this plan.
1. I think AFA and Navy are pretty adament of not having their non-football sports in the Big East (or any major conference, my understanding is that AFA would like to pull its other sports out of the MWC).

2. I can't imagine that Memphis would willingly agree to put it's basketball in a conference/division that didn't have UoL, Cinncy, UConn, and the Catholic schools.

Yeah, an all sports western division is a pipe dream. People need to just drop it.

We do, however, need one more football only member out west...

That goes for Houston and SMU as well.

Glad to hear that Temple has improved and moving in the right direction with their FB program. I see the value of Fresno State Joining the BE there is always a certain level of risk taking only because their might be something out there that we don't know. What we do know is there are Colleges located in major cities of the USA and that potential TV sets could be interested in tuning into those games. We also know that BE could potentially have games in three different time zones.

I see how Fresno could benefit for joining the conference if invited but at this point I am very pleased that Fans of the BE would even consider us as a potential member... so thank you all for that. We will see what the future holds for Fresno State and the BE as September approaches and school presidents vote and draw interest from western schools.

The Big East already has the potential with its current 2013 lineup to have games in four time zones as it stands... Eastern, Central, Mountain, and Pacific -- not potentially three.

Bust is not an option. Fresno State is third on the list and would say yes without a bunch of primadonna drama like certain other schools. I wish Marinatto would just get over his Air Force obsession and move forward already.

This, and I'll add this: Fresno State should be number two. Let's not go after Brigham Young again, please. (Sorry, but that's how I feel. If their BOT is gonna reject what eas basically a good deal that was beneficial to both sides, why grovel? We should move on.)
