Need to buy my better half a pair of diamond earrings for Valentines Day. Where can I get most bang for the buck in Mphs area?

Platinum Jewelers. Wholesale prices and they support Tiger athletics and DeAngelo Williams is an endorser and I've known the owner for 30+ years.

You can get right hand rings at Platinum Jewlers. Just listen to Mike Miller and Jerry "the King" Lawler.

I get all my stuff from a wholesaler who works out of platinum. The wife's ring was appraised and insured for more than double what we paid for it.

Weimar's Jewelry in Bartlett is a really good guy and treats you right. Went recently after some recommendations on here and on FB, and was very impressed. He will be my go to guy now.

Chris started on the ground floor working for one of the jewelry stores in the Raleigh Springs mall and worked his way up. Then he worked for Memphis Gemology Lab before opening Platinum Jewelers. When he first opened he didn't even have a store front, he rented some office space in the old office building next to the Oak Court mall. He had some display cases and very little inventory. He had loose diamonds and a catalogue of settings, you picked your diamond and the setting you wanted and he would have it ready for you in a couple of weeks, but the prices were worth the wait. Pretty soon he rented the office space next door and knocked out a wall and doubled the size of his store before eventually moving into an actual storefront downstairs. Then he opened a second store out in Cordova and another one in Brentwood. He has moved to Nashville and his little sister Terry runs the Memphis stores now.

It is a great small business success story and I think it would be very hard to find better value for the price anywhere. Chris started the business after realizing how ridiculous the markups were at typical jewelry stores, he knew he could beat their prices and still make good money by keeping his overhead low.

He is great too. Used to go to his store on summer with my uncle, they were buddies. Uncle had a watch collection about 300 deep.
