I thought the student chants were comical. Nothing low class about them. Once again Ricky loses to UC and once again he whines and whines and whines........

What were the chants you found comical?

I heard a group in my area chant the name of that women he had the affair with. Also, the chants to Behanan. He must have appreciated them too. He gestured to the crowd as he was leaving the court. Sort of a touche gesture.

From what I saw, doesn't look good... I'd be shocked to see Parker play Sunday, unfortunately. But, maybe vs. USF we'll need a little size, who knows?

It looked like it was his right groin again, didn't it? Same one he tore early this season. Sucks.

For the first time in awhile, the atmosphere felt like the Huggins days.
The effort on defense in the second half was awesome. I was worried about the offense, but they found different ways to score in the second half. Gates got mugged, over and over again.
It was pretty enjoyable, save for the end, where the FT trips got a little shaky.
Couldn't sit down the last few minutes.
How about the shirt Mick had? Ha.. was pretty bad ass.

Is it my imagination or has it been open season on Yancy in the last couple of games?

Has been lately. The refs called a few makeups in the second half.

It seems more hack a Shaq than usual. Refs aren't helping either.
They were bad in a variety of ways though, last night.
Give him a lot of credit, nobody can say he's really been soft this year.
He plays like a big, that fade away that rattled out, would have been nice though.

I was impressed with how UC handled the constant mugging from Louisville. I thought we matched up well with Louisville, but i did not think we could win if the refs sat on their whistles and let Louisville foul play after play, and yet because of just a great defensive effort and Cash's extraordinary play the Bearcats did just that.

As for Gates... I say it almost every game, but the man absorbs more contact and gets less foul calls than any player I have ever watched.

Go Bearcats!

Forfeit! Go to Senior night.

I say we let his game be the halftime show. Win-win.

If you like watching short, slow guys drain threes it could be fun. Ha

I'm still riding high from last night. Impressed I made it to class today. My Civil Procedure teacher is talking about something, but I am not sure what.

If its the Erie Doctrine you can just ignore it.

RE: UC vs Louisville Game Thread
Caught the second half last night but just watched the entire game again.

1) Cash Wright: Nothing more need be said.
2) Team D was awesome. Yes, there were some break downs and dumb fouls but all in all, they collapsed and rotated as well as i've seen all season.
3) Officiating = laughable. Nothing more need to said.
4) Chane and Dieng (sp?) are going to be a handful going forward.
5) Yancy has been playing the way you expect a SR to play. Quietly putting together a strong end to his last year.
6) For all those that have been talking about getting Gates the ball in the post, i say there are two major factors for that not happening. First, our guards don't seem to know how to create a good passing angle into the post. Second, for as strong as he's been playing, Yancy still doesn't work hard enough to seal off his man and make himself big. He doesn't move his feet and he gives up too easily once a defender overtakes his position.
7) i don't know what's up with SK but he needs to be the SK that was putting up 18-22 a night.
8) Jaquon is crucial going forward. Need him to get healthy and stay healthy.

Great win. Can't wait till Sunday.

Great summary 04-bow

I'll add about Yancy - he played a great game on the boards and defense, but brought the ball down WAY too many times.

Gotta give a lot of props to JJ and Dixon. Those were my two runners-up MVP to Cash, just on pure hustle alone.

Like Eroc, watched the replay (saw Rev. Horton Heat in concert last night - so sue me).

Looking at the crowd... Glad to see "Apathy has set in 03-yawn "
