Can anyone hazard a guess to what the Democrap's reasons for the articles
the past two days about ASU and Malzhan's contract. Was it to make it look like that ASU was a nobody school that was trying to go big time, and that they offered Gus a contract that they can't meet? My thoughts are that they are making another attempt to belittle ASU, while everyone knows that by hiring Malzhan, the ASU football team will continue to grow and prosper. Are they afraid that any continued success by ASU will hurt the hogs?

And they keep bringing up the subject about Malzhan's wife making a talk to a group in their former church that perhaps lowered his chances to get a head coaching job at a bigger and better school than ASU. What is the purpose of this? And, while I've read this several times, what did she say? I've never read what her comments were.

A friend made the comment to me the other night that he wondered whether or not the UA program was paying the Democrap or their writers to keep the newspaper full of pig news and practically void of news about the other sports programs in the state. It made me wonder if perhaps that was true. I've said for for a long time that the UA program was the only program in America with their own statewide newspaper.

Surely not. I cannot imagine that anyone in the Fayetteville program would EVER countenance something like that.

If that intereview kept him from getting a job, someone didn't have a sense of humor. You can find it on U Tube. Just type in Malzahn's wife and you'll find it. As I understand it, she was joking around with some friends and someone videoed it and put it on U Tube. Anyway, I didn't see anything that would have kept me from hiring him if I wanted him as a coach. And you're right in that the Hogs don't want much attention focused on ASU, and probably do everything possible to suppress anything positive about their program.01-lauramac2
