Yes, we all pitched in and paid off the Temple AD, ND's coach, and some other people of authority to talk about there believing a split will occur.

The idea has been mentioned by Dave Gavitt and Mike Tranghese.

Maybe Terry Holland knows what he is talking about when he say's that the Big East will have to expand. Holland knows a lot of important people incharge of several BCS schools from his days as Virginia's AD. I would think he knows a little about athletic budgets as they relate to tv contracts & what it takes to get the most money out of the networks. Many of you scoff at the idea of adding ECU to the Big East. I would think you would welcome a school that had the sense of hiring one of the most well respected AD's around. On top of his experience asset, my guess is that he knows a lot of dirty little secrets about the ACC. Besides adding a school that has loyal fans, you would be hurting the ACC in it's own backyard by allowing ECU to even the playing field against our ACC cousins in North Carolina. Give ECU that 3 foot long pecker TopCoog mentioned & I can assure you it will be used to f*** the ACC.

the split has to happen eventually - everybody knows that, and everyone is proceeding under the assumption that the split will happen. hopefully sooner, rather than later.

The only people preceeding under the assumption that the split will happen are the people on this board. Its complete nonsense.

And Temple's AD. And Notre Dame's coach.

I like your attitude but the Big East is in no position to add dead weight right now. Even you would have to admit that outside of baseball ECU brings little credibility to any league and baseball counts for little. Your AD could be Roy Kramer or Ghandi, it would make little difference imo.

L-YES, How many winning non-BCS schools average 33k per season? ECU averaged 33k this past season with a 2-9 record that was preceded the year before with a 1-10 record. L-YES, what you don't understand is that every school has it's ups & downs. Louisville is certainly not immune to a down cycle. Playing a Big East schedule, ECU would average just as much as Louisville. I know your world revolves around Louisville, but I can assure you that most ACC fans don't even notice your school. I would love to see the tv rating when ECU is playing on national tv & compare it to all the other current Big East schools as well as ones jumping onboard next year, since we are discussing the tv contract. I'll bet that ECU's rating are every bit as high if not higher than most of the current/future Big East programs. ECU has a new Chancellor, AD, & Head Football Coach in place. I predict that my Pirates will be around the .500 mark next year & going to bowls in two years. As far as basketball goes, there isn't a program out there, including Memphis, that would make the basketball side of the conference any better than it is now. We would dominate baseball.
