Penn State won't pay Pitt. Florida won't schedule Miami. Maryland should just shut the hell up

The ACC tries to kill the Big East, but now Maryland expects Georgetown to help them...? 03-drunk

Exactly! Also, billyjack's right. In fact, it could've played out like this:

ACC: "Maryland should be able to play Georgetown or we'll kill the Big East Conference."
Georgetown: "Why?! You've been trying to kill my conference anyway! Go to hell!"

I always wondered why Florida seemingly won't schedule Miami.

Despite the fact that Louisville is closer to Bloomington than West Lafayette, IU won't play the Cards in basketball. Is Louisville pulling publicity stunts to draw attention to this?

They last played in 2008 and will play again in 2013. Florida plays FSU every year and hardly any SEC teams play two AQ teams a year.

Outside of their own conference schedule, of course.

I'm still not over the fact that it's freaking Maryland trying to strong-arm GEORGETOWN. Pure comedy gold. What's next, Rice strong-arming Texas?

Now that would be hilarious! 03-lmfao (And I personally think it should happen. Our fellow Bayou City school needs to step up and tell the Longholes off!)
