The last 6-7 years, when lower-tier conference winners got an AQ if they finished in the top 12, will be looked back upon as the glory days of college football. Some senators from Utah and Idaho screwed it up for the rest of us by demanding more.

All looks good except for the fact you have The Big East weaker than the ACC in football. That simply is not true. Also The Big 12 is probably a little better than the PAC-12. Small complaints I guess.

Not so much just about the competitiveness rather than the "worth" of the league (TV,etc.). Even if the BE (per Sagarin) or other rating scheme was ahead of the ACC, general perception amongst the ranks is SEC,B1G,(PAC,B12) or switch, ACC, BE, everybody else. The independents are where they are because of ND obviously.
