Final Mid-Week Games
Tuesday Game on Fox Sports at 7pm
Evansville @ Creighton - Creighton is looking to get back on track and get in a groove. Evansville is playing for positioning and trying to avoid Thursday. Could be a good game if Ryan and company are hitting it could be a heck of a game. Especially considering Creighton doesn't play good D.
Prediction - Creighton by 6
Wednesday games
Bradley @ Northern Iowa (WTVP @ 7pm) - UNI is fighting for a .500 conference finish and an avoidance of Thursday. Bradley is playing for pride if they're playing for anything.
Prediction - UNI by 8
Southern Illinois @ Drake (Mediacom @ 7pm) - SIU has wrapped up 9th. Drake is one of the schools fighting for positioning and a Thursday night bye.
Prediction - Drake by 13
Wichita State @ Illinois State (Cox @ 7pm) - Wichita is trying to wrap up a title and ISU is trying to defend its home court and make a statement. Should be a fun one.
Prediction - Wichita by 7
Indiana State @ Missouri State - MSU has guaranteed themselves a Thursday bye. ISUb is trying to get that themselves. The Trees have been all over the place this year and you never know what to expect.
Prediction - MSU by 5

RE: Final Mid-Week Games
Creighton ended up edging out Evansville in OT by 1. I didn't see the game but Evansville was taking it to CU when it sounds like the officiating crew decided to assist CU. I'm an official and don't go around blaming others but I've read way too much on the game to believe that that crew didn't have an impact on how that game ended up. Either way, Creighton has problems.

RE: Final Mid-Week Games
UNI came down from the half to beat Bradley 64-55. Walt Lemon Jr. continues to put points on the board for the Braves. Hopefully something Geno Ford can build around in Peoria. Anthony James and Seth Tuttle were a little too much for the the Braves though as they led UNI to an important win for the Panthers.
Drake was able to take care of SIU 78-63 at home. Mamadou Seck continues to pretty much the only player for SIU that wants it going for 20 and 10. But sophomore Rayvonte Rice countered with 19 and 10 of his own to lead the Bulldogs to victor.
Missouri States seniors dropped a turd on Senior Night in Springfield, losing to Indiana State 59-46. Weems finished with 7 and 6 on 3-13 shooting. Patterson finished with 2 and 1 on 1-9 shooting. ISUb was led by Dwayne Lathan with 12 and 7.
Number 19, Wichita State, didn't play quite as well as they have been, but managed to pull out a 13 point road win against ISU. The Shox were led by big man Garrett Stutz who picked up I believe his 11th double/double of the season (12 and 14). ISU was led by scrappy guard Bryan Allen who put up 17. The Shox wrapped up an outright Valley title with this victory. Ragland led the Shox with 14 points.
3-8 is still to be decided...
