RE: Marian Kursh
When Marian is on, she's a force in our league. On some nights though, it's as though she's not very focused and makes a lot of silly mistakes.

You're trying to be "politically correct" Doc. How about that "she doesn't always play hard." When she does play hard, yes, she's a force. All players have off nights occasionally when their shots aren't falling , but some give 100% effort every night out regardless whether or not they're hitting their shots. Some don't. You can't fake effort.

I guess that's she keeps Coach Foley company on the bench sometimes.

RE: Marian Kursh
There is no way that Kursh deserved to be POW last week.

Jerica Coley had better numbers in every statistical category but FG%. She should have been named POW. But the Sun Belt has to "spread the love" so everyone can be a winner.

I agree that Coley is a great player, but how many games did they win? UALR won both games. That probably figured into the equation. But I wish Coley was playing for us. She's super.

So the POW award goes to the top performer on the team that wins the most games that week? I guess that means Ebony Rowe or Kortni Jones is a lock for POY then.

Interesting that three players won POW the week they played Troy. Guaranteed win and easy stat padder.
