Buffalo Hires a new DB coach

The Position was left open when Defensive Backs coach and recruiting coordinator Ernest Jones departed a couple of weeks ago. Footballscoop.com is reported last night that JMU defensive backs coach Maurice "Mo" Linguist has accepted a job with Buffalo.

If true UB Athletics will be releasing a press note on it with its usual run this afternoon. Check them out to see if it's already out there.

Linguist played football at Baylor where he was named the Bears Defensive Most Valuable Player as a strong safety in 2006, he also garnered honorable mention as an All-Big 12 player. During his career he started 24 games racked up 176 tackles and three career interceptions.
