RE: Price Increases?
Got word that the water tower lot will be a public lot this year.

Would anyone want to park in the water tower lot rather than the Convo lot now?

I think the Convo lot would be more festive.

One of the reasons I like tailgating/parking in lot K is because it is pavement....so if it happens to be a day that is rainy - or it has rained recently like the day before - we are not stuck sloshing around in mud and wet grass. Plus it's fairly close to the stadium and a good atmosphere. There are TONS of us season ticket holders who park in this lot.
Per HuskieJohn "They are offering a better parking lot for the low level donors/season ticket holders."
We ARE season ticket holders and this is not giving us "better" so to speak. Or even DECENT. So we are supposed to tailgate/park at the fieldhouse? that will be festive....NOT.
where is Lot X?
I am also a season ticket holder who will not get to park in this lot because I don't donated enough. I will still park in the Convo lot as I did last year. The section I parked in, C2, is totally paved as is section C1. For all the games there were plenty of people having a good time with some even taking up 2 spots without a problem, other than for HC that is. The walk to the West stands is not bad but is about twice the distance of the movie lot.

If you want to park for cheep then you can go to lot X but I would think the Convo lot will be the most festive public lot now. (This is the OLD map from the past season)

Lots X W & O are so far removed from the stadium even if tailgating were allowed I wouldn't consider them as an option. It's just too far out there.
Convo lot C2 is quite the hike too. I'm going to guess that the marching band doesn't make it all the way out to the Convo lots, do they? We always love having the band come by ...adds to the game day atmosphere.
There are people we see at every home game in Lot K that always set up in the same place - both corners that are up close to Stadium Drive. In fact one of the guys sets up a whole Tiki bar complete with a flat screen TV and satellite dish. They are going to flip when they have to find new spots in a different lot I bet.
Yea, I don't know where we will end up. I can appreciate that good perks & good parking go to those that donate $$...I would certainly donate if I could. Wish being a long term season ticket holder counted for a bit more tho. *sigh*
