These teams are trying to stay out of the bottom 4, to achieve a first round home game at their school site.

Toledo has the directional schools all at home, and have a fairly reasonable shot to finish 7-9 in the MAC.

Toledo defeats Ball State by 8 on the road.
UT improves to 4-8. Ball State falls to 4-8.
Western will beat NIU. They are up by 9 with 18 minutes left it's only a matter of time. So WMU improves to 5-8. And NIU falls to 2-10

Shocking is that Ball State with all the returning players this year is 4-8. Ball State perhaps the biggest disappointment in the MAC. Jones is a great rebounder and its shocking they aren't near the top of the MAC with him.

Toledo defeats CMU 72-67 to improve to 5-8 in the MAC, and 14-14 overall. CMU drops to 3-10 in MAC play.
EMU defeats NIU by 3, to stay ahead in the MAC at 7-6.

WMU takes out BSU 78 - 61. WMU at Toledo up next.

EMU with a close escape but they still need to come to Kalamazoo. Don't be shocked if the Broncos are able to get that #5 seed.

Ohio's losses to EMU and Toledo not as bad now after the strong finish for EMU and Toledo. EMU and Toledo two of most improved teams over the last two months in the MAC. They will be tough outs in the MAC tournament. Two teams that are better than those overall record. Toledo is a lot like the 2006 Ohio team that was young and talented and got better as the season went on. That team won the MAC tournament after a hot finish. EMU can play some great defense. They will be in some close games and you always have a chance in a close game.

I saw a prediction that they had Akron in the NCAA's as a 15 seed again. If Toledo made it they would be a 17 lol.
