I'm insulted. Those were not orthopedic shoes! They were high fashion farm shoes that were specifically customized to my Sunday best overalls. And, that was not a lazy eye. I had one eye on your wife and one eye on you, trying to figure out who I wanted to dance with. My life is not easy, you know!

Just as the MAC sold its soul to ESPN, NIU sold itself to ISP. The days of the past where almost all of our games were televised are gone.

On the plus side, you can watch the ISU games on Saturday afternoon while you get ready for our Tuesday nighters.

I suppose whatever money they make by not televising NIU games in the Chicago area can go to spruce up that Tennessee Vols Network TV studio.

IMO, it is a very bad idea to not televise our home games. Why do they have hard-ons for our games on ESPN? It's for the television exposure. Well, by not televising our Saturday home games, we have taken one step forward and three steps backward.

They also are the ones that own our boring grey padded seats that they rent for $5 a game or $22 for the season. I really wish we got them re-covered in red with the Huskie logo on the back facing the field. I know I would pay the extra $110 for my 5 seats per season if they didn't blend in like they do now.

We probably got a good deal on these...

Last year suggested to AD Compher to have our seats re-covered like this to spur some more pride in the seats...aka more sales...more money for NIU (and ISP )
