I take it you haven't been paying attention to the conversation in this thread. You just picked this out one item to complain about, so you could act like a jerk...

LOL...

Wow... seriously?
And name calling on top of that. How juvenile. 03-yawn

As a MOD, I expected more of a mature response from you.

So you call me a jerk because I disproved your previous statement?
Yet you were the one with the reply of "It's your problem not mine." But feel free to try turn this out against me and call me more names since it obviously makes you feel better.

A couple of people have called for the WVU board to be moved, just as the Cuse/Putt boards were. But with your obvious bias, you refuse to properly address it, and instead give an excuse that for some reason did not apply to the other 2.

At least vote was made on weather the Cuse/Pitt board should have been moved. It was fair, and democratic. Why shouldn't the same apply now? Especially with how WVU has handled the situation against the BEast. And also considering how some of your fellow WVU fans now post threads/replies bashing the conference.

If the majority want it moved, then it should be. If not, then I would stand with that decision with no problem.

But... for some strange reason... that isn't good enough for you.

Since when do rules apply to West Virginia?

Yes. Haven't you figured that out yet? The NCAA put its stamp on both ACC raids of The BEast, the SEC and B1G's on the Big XII, the Big XII's on The BEast, and all raids down the food chain...

What basketball tournament is WVU going to be playing in this spring? A two word answer should suffice.

Following that tournament, I 100% agree with your sentiment.

But what does West Virginia's future cross county team have anything to do with the Big East? I agree that if this thread were about basketball, it's fine. But talking about a future minor sport in a totally different conference doesn't really belong here in my opinion. We don't need to get rid of the whole WVU board, just threads like these. Just my .02

This isnt a BB board its a BE board. As long as WVU is part of the BE anything pertaining to their athletic department (or other departments) should be open for discusion. Since one of the conditions of WVU moving to the B12 is they need to sponsor a new mens sport it is relevant. Its is as relevant as the question "where will WVU put is soccer program, or what their FB schedule will be lkike next year.

It hasn't fallen on deaf ears. It just hasn't been the top priority given the other major changes within CSN.

WVU isn't in the Big XII yet. Currently the Mountaineers are competing in The BEast. We'll move the WVU board to the Big XII July 1st, when the conference change is officially made...

WVU adding a new sport for next season is a Big XII issue, so the Big XII forum is appropriate for this topic. Discussions about Big East related issues - like the current basketball season - belong here, and a new sport for WVU in 2013 ain't one of them...

See the diff? 07-coffee3

How can i ask a WVU question on the B12 board when WVU remains on this one?
If WVU iis still here because they are still in the BE, then bring Syracuse and Pitt back. They will be BE members after wvu is gone. By the way the question still hasnt been answered.

RE: WVU new sport
As a Cuse fan I have stated in the past that it is foolish to move all conversations pertaining to Syracuse to another board. People that sensitive should not be on an internet forum. That being said a conversation of whether or not Syracuse will be adding baseball in the ACC or West Virginia adding any sports really should not take place on the Big East board. Current competition in the Big East is fair game and these NBE fans need to get over it but...what sport should WVU add? Who cares on this board?

RE: WVU new sport
I would agree that WVU fans need to keep the conversation within the current competition going on. It is tough not getting pulled in defending in the school though. Any comments about football, etc.... should go to the Big 12 or WVU board.

It doesn't seem quite right that a fan of a team entering next year should have input as to preventing current BE teams discussing issues on this board such as a Pitt-WVU game.

How about that game anyway??? 03-nutkick

Go to the Big XII board and start a new thread. There are WVU fans checking that board. Trust me. If you want a serious answer to your question, that's the place to find it...

I tend to agree with you about the Syracuse and Pitt boards. But it was decided to move their boards early and Pitt and Syracuse fans are ok with it. Frankly, they can do whatever with the WVU board. It doesn't matter where it is. Nobody uses it. Nobody uses the Pitt or Syracuse boards either...

First off, you posted this on the Big East board, not the WVU board. Thus, this argument is inherently weak. Just because WVU still branches off the Big East bbs area, doesn't mean you can't just post this on the B-XII general talk.

Second, the decision to move the Syracuse and Pitt boards over to the ACC was made strictly on the recommendation by Syracuse and Pitt mods (cuseroc and CP at the time), because neither wanted to much crap to fly around.

Although Bit has yet to adopt such a stance on WVU and where its board should reside, the fact is, they are still playing in the Big East until the end of this basketball (and even baseball) season. I still consider Syracuse and Pitt fans equally welcome here.

Honestly, some of you guys think Bit is d!ckhead Oliver Luck himself, and Miko is Pitt's jerk0ff president. Both just happen to be supporters of their respective schools. They are no different than the rest of us.

RE: WVU new sport
It is correct that judging by the lack of use of the WVU board it really does not matter at all when it gets moved. Seeing the ghost town that it is perhaps a move would be in it's best interest.

Unless WVU turns things around in BBall pretty quick it may be a mute point anyway. There may not be a lot to discuss before July 1. Last night was a good start though with regards to the Pitt game. I see no reason why comments on that game would be appropriate for the Big 12 (10) Board.

I really cant believe people feel this strongly about where a thread was posted , about something as unimportant as adding a new sport. I really have little interest in what WVU does or doesnt do.Just thought it would be something to talk about. Is it really that important that a question about the future plans of WVU NOT be posted on a BE board? :muttering:
Thsi thread could have ended awhile ago with a simple reply of, "not sure yet although xcountry, track and golf are being considered"
If this thread doesnt belong here, then move it to the expansion board. Theres a thread there about Missouri's wrestling program, that didnt seem to generate such hostility.
