I wonder if Toledo would give tickets for an away game @ NIU. 03-shhhh

We had our donor kickoff today.

THIS IS CONFERENCE WIDE. This is all because of our AD pitched the idea to all of your AD's and them being open to getting more butts in the stands. This had nothing to do with the MAC front office.

So yes we will be giving 2 free tickets to Toldeo season ticket holders that pick our game as the one they would like to go to.

Just as I am looking forward to going to WMU for just gas and parking.

Well, I guess that solves the "is Toledo NIU's rival?" question.

RE: MAC season ticket changes?
Can they work out a way to make the tickets non-transferrable? Because otherwise I fear they're just going to end up flooding the ticket re-seller websites and undercut gameday sales to the locals.

This year they are using as a test year by seeing if they can "trust" the season ticket holders. If they need to make changes next year they will. The ticket directors have a conference call today to discuss the logistics.

RE: MAC season ticket changes?
In our case they should probably let us pick Temple even if that's our "rival", as the only other realistic option is Buffalo and we're hosting them. It might even help jumpstart the rivalry, and it's not like our stadiums have a shortage of seats.

I can see how this is a great idea for the core MAC teams that are closer together though. Definitely worth a shot.

You are coming to DeKalb for your crossover away game.
