point next year
We haven't seen the incoming group, but I am thinking it will be Chuck's to lose. His A/TO is not great, but not awful, either - 1.44. I think we want him shooting the 3 less and penetrating more, and one way to get him to do that is to let him have the ball.

Dillard is the heir apparent at the 2. The kid can shoot.

Assuming that Dillard is the 3, and Gus and Javes are the 4 and 5, what do you do with Will? You've said that Chucky may be the point, so you must have Will at the 2, or the 6th man.

I think Gillon is going to be hard to keep on the bench. I see 1- Gillon
2- Chuck
3- Dillard/Taggart
4- Neighbour
5- Gus/ Javes
Lots of competition and depth.

Point Guard definitely seems like it will be our big question mark going into next year. Chuck just seems to play too chaotically for a PG, but he may mature. He still seems pretty well suited for the 2 spot. What about Dillard at the PG? Son of a coach and all, he'd definitely have the head for it. He certainly can shoot so he's got that. What's he missing?

I too am pretty excited about Gillon though.

I thought about that. He doesn't turn the ball over much. But I would hate not to have his shooting at the 2.

It hasn't hurt Dre's shooting. Solo actually played a lot of point last year. He might not bring the ball down when Dre was in the lineup, but he'd end up with the ball out front, and he controlled the offense. If Ben can play the two, I'm all for it. I like a scoring point guard. Especially a good three point shooter who will take that shot when it's open.

Lots of competition and depth.

Don't forget Stetson Billings. It will take him a little while to learn Steve's defense, but he seemingly has the athletic ability and skills, both defensively and offensively, to work his way into the lineup. He could possibly be a starter at some point during this next season.04-cheers
