Your avatar takes Boeheim way out of context. You make it seem like he is comparing the BE this year to the ACC this year. He wasn't.

Exactly, Boeheim was talking about PAST years, that's why he said that Miami vs Virginia Tech for the ACC title proved that the Big East had the best football. And average rankings prove it as well (the last 4 years the ACC's average ranking is 11.8, the Big East 5.3). Also, saying that Georgia Tech vs Syracuse was #6 vs #1 is asinine. If Syracuse were #1 they would be playing Utah in the Fiesta Bowl. It was the ACC's #6 vs the Big East's #4, Syracuse one a share of the Big East title but was considered 4th place, that's why they went to a bowl game lower then West Virginia and Pitt.
