Both were electric and amazing in their Sun Belt playing days. Jernigan was absolutely spectacular as well. I don't see how you can actually differentiate the roles both played, as both were return men, both were wide receivers, both were used sparingly in the "wildcat" offense. Actually, Hilton perhaps is a better return man than receiver, and will be drafted with those talents in mind by an NFL team.
However, if you compare all time stats, it's clear-cut who the leader is.
