In case you guys missed this over the past few days....two days ago West Virginia beat #20 George Washington in Morgantown...and last night...St Johns (which has the worst talent in the league) went out and destroyed #15 NC State 63-45....the league maybe the best in the country this year....I can't imagine what next year is going to be like..but its going to be fun

UC plays against #1 Illinois tonight. Hopefully they hold their own, but Illinois looks pretty damn tough. 8:00EST on Fox Sports Ohio (and a handful of others) if you are looking for the game on TV.

Dish network assigns my goegraphical area (40 miles southeast of Louisville) with Fox Sports Cincy. Do you know if that channel is picking up the game?

Barry,

I believe it should have been on FSCincy. FSO and FSCincy are usually the same except for Reds, Indians, and Cavs game along with local colleges.

I would have agreed until PITT capped off the shi%*@# weekend in their athletic history with a loss at home to Bucknel.

Pitt loses to Bucknell, West Virginia still undefeated, UConn women losing left and right. This is clearly the 'alternate universe' Big East.

By my count i see 7 BE teams which is very good.

#6 syracuse

#10 UCONN

16 Pitt

17 UL

21 WVU

23 UC

with Marquette recieving votes

I count the ACC with 9 teams ranked and recieving votes

UNC
wake
duke
GT
all in the top 10

Maryland
BC

In the later 20s

with NCSU, UVA, and Miami recieving votes. If i did my math correct 7<9. By the way UTEP is recieving votes. My point is not to flame i simply stated a fact. Thats a rough loss for pitt that ended their 48 game home winning non conference streak. We in fact had a non conference home winning streak as well that got snapped this year. I really hate the ACC since i live in the middle of it. Everyone knows that Pitt was the more talented team but it just shows the amount of parity there is in college basketball and if you dont bring your A game every game out you can lose. We have experienced the same thing this year. I was thrilled to see WVUs win over NCSU. I truly hate their fans and that school and everything about them. It really makes me sick because im from Raleigh.
