Some USM fans seem more upset about that than the loss

Prick move to even put that up.Definitely cheered when he got thrown out.

So what was the deal with the sign, and why was he kicked out.

Some guys put up an enormous banner that said "Nasty Bunch" with a big USM logo. The thing took up almost an entire section

No, MB. We're asking.. was he "asked to take it down".. did he? And if he did, then why eject the kid... if he did what security asked him to do.

Nobody is answering the question of whether or not he was asked to take it down... and whether or not he did, or if he caused problems.

I know I shouldn't read into the garbage they say, but talking about our "lame ass crowds" is just idiotic. We brought about 20 UAB fans (if that) to the game down there this year and pretty much owned the place. Their cheerleaders were doing the defense chant with us. The only organized thing they could say was "sucks" after we would do a UAB chant.

And the crowd tonight was far from "lame ass". Best energy of the season in my opinion. It doesn't hurt that we are playing a ton better now.

About the sign, dude man got kicked out for being an ass, not for taking it out. I saw a cop go up there to talk to him and then another had to come up there. I guess they got him on the fact that he didn't purchase all those tickets and when he complained he got tossed.

I thought it was a classless move at the football game when they had the sign, and I thought it was classless tonight. However, the timing tonight was not very good, bringing it out at the beginning of the second half when you were still trailing.

But at the end of the day, they are 0-2 when they bring that sign to B'ham.

From what I can tell, a cop came up to talk to the two guys that put the sign up.

More than likely he said, "You guys are going to have to put the sign away unless you want to pay the $5 ticket price per seat that it covers."

Apparently one cop wasn't enough, because a second one had to come up in join them. There was probably an argument and that's why the guy was thrown out.

Yeah it wasnt a sign it was a tarp that covered all of the seats in an upper level section. One of the building guys was pissed by the uab bench and said put him out put him out but it might have been because he got smart with the police . IDK regardless that was trashy to cover seats with an opposing schOols tarp especially when there were maybe 20 USM fans there that I saw.

This will not bode well the next time Blazers fans travel to Hattiesburg for a basketball game. The stench of retribution is already in the air.

Reid Adair was in badarse mode when I saw it going up. Classless to put up the sign -perhaps - but I would not have thrown them out unless they were acting smart. My question would be how did they get that big duffle bag in that they stuffed the sign in?

Nothing wrong with decent sized banners inside the arena.

The classless crap they tried to put out was ridiculous though.

If they wish to display Nasty Power or whatever the hell it is in their own arena, let them knock themselves out doing it.
