I actually mentioned Roar as an example before the post with "any site" in it so it seems you missed the boat again (did you even read the thread?). Feel free to choose any pay site that is dedicated to one school to answer my question. Roar is the only one I am familiar with.

So let’s change Memphis Roar to Kentucky Whimper and try this again. If Kentucky Whimper covers primarily Kentucky recruits for their paid customers are they going to spin stories about those recruits to drive hits or are they going to be honest with their evaluations?

There are exceptions to every rule. Memphis Roar does not do that because they have a stand-up guy that runs their operation. I know you may not like to hear that, but it's the truth.

It does not bother me to hear that at all and I am sure that he is a stand up guy. The problem now is you are assuming that the folks running those other sites are not. Do you know them? Why make those accusations? I think Time4Reason laid out a much more plausible reason for the drop in the rankings but it did not involve anyone being out to get Memphis so I am sure it will be ignored.

I want to get this out there one more time for the cheap seats. I do not visit roar but i do not care that roar exists. If they can get people to spend money on their site more power to them. Each time I have had a problem with Roar it has been about the way they handled a specific circumstance or situations. From the time I pointed out they lied to everyone on mt.org about going premium, to the time they made fun of stokes "trainer" on twitter after he signed with ut. I have also praised them when it is deserved like the benefit for Mrs. Hunt. I have also defended the when I felt it was necessary like when I pointed out Chris Hrabe (sp?) was being a dick in their latest twitter dust up.

so at the end of the day I take things on a case by case basis. No grudges and no hate. Some of you should give it a try.

Can some explain to me how anyone could be stupid enough to get busted through their IP address? My 10 year old nephew could by-pass that. I could easily post Premium Roar content all day long and they could never do aything. I would never do that of course but still..
