I agree, and it actually sounded like the nBe was rather patient with BYU... but their lawyer was a piece of work.

According to ESPN, the conference is saying they have 14 teams for 2013. They're still accounting for WVU, Cuse, and Pitt all staying for the next few years. Could that be the reason behind the talk that the conference is done expanding? Maybe if WVU leaves next season or Cuse/Pitt leave sooner then expected, then we'll see more additions to fill the holes. If we are indeed done than it's a disppointment. Tough missing out on Air Force, BYU, AND Temple.

I would expect Air Force, and Temple are on stand-by. Big East expansion might be finished with CUSA teams but it is far from being finished. Truth is Britton Banowsky is going through the motions as CUSA commissioner anyway. His conference is about to merge with The MWC and he's getting a new job. Commissioner of The Big 12.

As far as CUSA is concerned, we are finished. The only other schools being talked about are in other conferences. But I don't think there's anything that could be said to convince me that we're 100% finished expanding.
