$52K to coach volleyball in NE TN for the A-Sun seems a bit much. My question is what were the salaries before football was dropped?

RE: im suprised
I dont think any of the salaries are substantially above or below what I would have expected.

This is not nearly as big of a story as the faculty/staff salary issues.

RE: im suprised
First, let me say that the faculty/staff salary issues are a bigger story. Second, I am not really compelled to quibble over athletic department salaries esp since I am not a TN taxpayer. However, I would like to know how a school that is de-emphasizing athletics turns around and emphasizes salaries. Unless, of course, the school is now emphasizing athletics and I missed the announcement.

To me this looks like a case of a rising tide floats all boats.
