Bearcats Announce New Social Seats Promotion
Bearcats Announce New Social Seats Promotion

Feb. 7, 2012

CINCINNATI - The University of Cincinnati Department of Athletics has announced a new men's basketball ticket and social media promotion, the Social Seats.

Social Seats is an exclusive offer to fans of the UC Facebook page and followers of the GoBEARCATS twitter account. Fans who purchase tickets for any of the remaining four men's basketball games (and those who have already purchased tickets for those games) will be entered into a random drawing. The winner will receive two upgraded lower-level seats for the game they are attending and two media credentials with access to the media room, media hospitality area, and postgame press conferences. Winners will be encouraged to document their experience on their respective social networks and will receive recognition on the Fifth Third Arena video board.

Here's how to get involved.
1. Log in to Facebook and Twitter to follow UC's updates.
2. Find the special promotion code which will only be announced on the social platforms.
3. Log on to CATSTIX.com to purchase your tickets for the remaining home contests using the promo code.
4. Check UC's Facebook and Twitter feeds to see if you are the big winner.
5. Enjoy the game!

Mr Babcock seems to be thinking "outside the box" and I like him for it.

Yeah I am liking how the department is connecting to the fans. Really liked the gift tickets for DePaul, and went ahead a bought
tickets for Providence and the last home game Marquette.

I got "gift tickets" for Depaul. They arrived one day after the game. I ain't complaining since it shows that Whit is thinking and that UC is in MUCH better hands than before. Execution will only get better and better.

They have to do something after 3 straight pathetic losses, and a squeak by of Depaul. The excitement was really building until the Rutgers loss. That deflated the fanbase big time.
