OT: Super Bowl
Good luck to the giants who have three Troy players starting (Jernigan return man, Tynes Kicker, and Osi defensive lineman).

Somewhat pulling for the Patriots because I like Brady more than Eli and would rather see a guy getting his fourth ring and entering truly rarefied air, but I don't really care too much.

Wow...they let him score. You never see teams do that. Really smart play.

Yep.
They talk about it all the time, but you rarely ever see it.

My poor wife...had Giants 2 and the Pats 7 in our Super Bowl Pool...I have no clue why you don't just kick the extra point there...

All three of our boys played well last night. Pretty cool Jernigan was the first man to touch the ball with that opening kickoff.

RE: OT: Super Bowl
Jernigan just needs to stay in top shape and he may eventually crack the WR rotation once other guys are lost. As we saw in the superbowl he can make guys miss just like in college at the NFL level. Playing a part in winning a super bowl his rookie year certain gives him a lot more stock.

RE: OT: Super Bowl
Jerrel Jernigan ran for 71 yards (23.7-yard average and 34 yards long) on kick returns.

Osi Umenyiora had one tackle, two QB hits and caused the lack sack of Brady.

Lawrence Tynes had 7 points, was 2-for-2 in FGs, his longest from 38 yards.

The Trojan Trio represented Troy well.
