When DD leaves, I will be because he left for a better opportunity. I will be happy for him and thankful he came to NIU and continued the JK success. He will leave being the most successful coach in NIU history. He will also have the best winning percentage of any NIU FBcoach in the schools history. Since we went to Division 1A, we have not had one former FB Coach obtain long term success at a BCS school.

Sure it looks terrible if you have no idea what you're talking about.

I have always thought DD was a classy guy. You are indeed an idiot.

MOST of us think DD is a classy guy and like him now. But I have seen many people on this board change their opinion of players & coaches in a heartbeat. For example, look at how most people reacted when Garrett had his problem in Florida. Not many gave him the benefit of waiting for all the facts - they just turned on him and called him names and instantly didn't like him anymore. Even though the whole incident was way out of character & not all the facts were present. As it turned out, Garrett pretty much was set up , did nothing wrong and all charges were dropped.

When Coach Doeren leaves, I can foresee that if he doesn't depart EXACTLY as people think he should... some people will turn on him too.

I did not say that you don't think DD is a classy guy. And calling me an idiot was completely unnecessary and pretty childish.
