RE: MT vs Denver on ESPN2 Today!
That was Denver's first MBB home appearance on an ESPN Network, and the student section help lift the Pioneers to a 15-point victory over MTSU, including a court-rush at the end.

This game helped put Denver basketball on the National Map.

MTSU played us very tough in the first half, but I think Denver was able to make better adjustments in the second half on a day when the three-balls weren't falling. MTSU certainly had the better athletes, but Denver was able to use their disciplined system to get the open shots they needed at the end of long possessions. Getting Rob Lewis back from injury has helped the Pioneers, and Chris Udofia's emergence into a high level player was a big difference today.

My summary: Stupid turnovers by MT while trying to force a transition game against a Denver team who was back on defense quickly.

I'm no basketball genius, but when they get 3 or 4 back on defense after a turnover, you should just set up shop at half court and wait, not drive in and get it poked away.

Congrats to Denver.

I don't think many teams in the nation would have won in Denver with the way you played today (and great atmosphere).

It's going to be a tough, tough Hot Hoops in Hot Springs.

Good game Denver. You guys have a good team with an offense that is tough to stop.
