Downers South backs rarely make any impact at the next level, because they play with kids that are almost D1 size in front of them against some of the worst football programs in the state. When you're not running over guys from Leyden, Proviso East, or Morton anymore, suddenly they look very average.

Or, they turn into something else, like Quince Holman, who redeemed himself by going to NIU and moving to DT (but he always had a bit more brains than most Mustangs... he's from Woodridge).

I talked with my sons friend. He didn't play him in football this year but said he is one hell of a baseball player. He thought he would be a d1 baseball player
