Jan. 31 - SAVE THE DATE
For all you Kzoo area folk who are worried about post-holiday blues, be in Miller Auditorium on the WMU campus at 7:30 p.m. on Tuesday, Jan. 31st.

Miller is bringing the 5-time Tony nominated rock musical, Rock of Ages for a one-night performance. It is the bawdiest, funniest, rockingest head banging time you've had since the 80's. Fantastic music and an amusing back story. Mr. Whinny and two of her posse will be there in full 80's dress, singing and dancing in her seat. I'm rrrrready to rrrrawk, dammit!

There are still many great seats available in the grand tier and the balcony. Wear your scruffy old hair band shirts from long ago, and any other 80's wear you can think of. Big hair is recommended for females.

DON'T MISS IT!! See it live in its fantastic theater form before the bastardized Glee-ified movie comes out next year.

Video is from the Broadway cast. The tour cast will have some casting changes. But everything else remains the same.

I went to that on your recommendation Mr. Whinny, that was a great show.

This time at intermission, I didn't say, "too much singing" like I did a few decades ago at Le Mis. I'm learning.

Did you go?? I'm so glad! It's not much like Les Mis, is it? BWAH! I have been entranced with this show for almost 3 years now. Play the original Broadway cast CD album at least once a week. This will be my first time to see it live. It's right up Mr. Whinny's alley ... bawdy and rawkin'.

Got my retro Bon Jovi t-shirt delivered this week, along with my glow jewelry. I'm READY!!! Rock 'n Roll, baby!

Still plenty of good seats in the Grand Tier and Balcony, for those of you still thinking about it.

Still some tickets available in the Grand Tier at Miller, and quite a few open in the Balcony. The Orchestra floor is pretty much sold out.

FWIW, the ROA tour is also hitting Detroit in February for a five-day stay.

It was a really fun show. Miller Auditorium was rawkin'!! Ear-splitting music with booming bass, smoke, and strobe lights. A silly, lightweight plot full of bathroom jokes. Because it's all about the music, you know.
