Would LOVE if we could get Dubose and/or Hurley. My top 2 misses in this years class.

"It's a great way for NIU to get me in the program because they are out of scholarships for this class," Canoy said. "I honestly had never heard of the term until this weekend, but the coaches explained it all to me and my family and it all makes sense and I'm excited about it. I can keep working out and getting stronger and be ready to roll in the spring. I basically have a year to get ready for NIU."
so if we are out of scholarships officially, does that mean Charlie Miller is officially out of the question? he wouldnt take greyshirt to NIU. If so that sucks!

A couple of the assistant coaches were spending some time in Fla. last week. I am hoping Timms and Miller may be possibilites. DD has really put the clamps on recruiting info. Timms more likely than Miller.

RE: 2012 Recruiting Thread
Here's something about Miller from a Vanderbilt message board:
The Palm Beach paper says...
MILLER WAITING TO DECIDE: Vero Beach receiver Charlie Miller will wait until Wednesday to make a decision, coach Lenny Jankowski said. Miller, a second-team all-state selection, took an official visit to Vanderbilt this past weekend. He also has visited Minnesota and Northern Illinois. "He enjoyed his visit to Vanderbilt, but he really wanted to think about it," Jankowski said. "He wants to talk to his family and really make sure that he's making the right decision and I can appreciate that."
Scuttlebutt on the Vandy site says they may be out of schollys. Oh please, please.

I hope we left a little room on our own scholies. We can pick up some plums at the end if we have space.

Maybe we ran out of room the past day or so.
This was my dads co-worker's son.
Probably ran out of scholarships. My feeling that is a good thing. Means we might not have been poached and didn't have to go to the second tier or we could pick and chose who we want

That can be good and bad. Schiller was a late offer

IMO, they offered him early and he waited. He missed out.
