Auburn, and for that matter Alabama as well, have a history of never letting QB recruits go out of state. It is something the boosters in the SEC have always been big about, with high school football so popular down there some of these kids are famous in their states and the boosters don't want to see them leave, even if it is to a memphis or an NIU

I was following him early, but he veraballed to (I wanna say a CUSA team) maybe UCF. He switched rather late.
