New rankings released by the National Jurist recognize the NIU College of Law as one of the best schools in the nation for students interested in pursuing careers in public service or public sector jobs....

I went to the NIU Law School, I think we are usually top 20 in that department.

And how does NIU LAW rank as a school, in total. What tier? Last I checked, we were near the bottom nationally. And I offer this while having the utmost respect for the law school.

This rating (along with all the others) will skyrocket once NIU gets into a "big boy" conference. Peer reviews mean a lot in many rankings.

Just look at the "Academic reputations" of Louisville and Cincinnati after they joined the Big East...coincidence?

Hey, we are ranked high in "value" last time I heard. Can't underestimate that in this economy!
