You should behave that way anyway.
Okay. Fixed it.
LOL, you don't have to act any more afraid of me now than you ever did. It's not the gun you have to worry about.
I'd take it away from you and then I'd slap you.

Yeah. Stay at home in Memphis if you are gonna act like this guy. We don't tolerate this kind of behavior over here, especially in the neighborhoods around Belmont.

i'm down...love Range USA
Is that the one on Old Whitten?
Yep, that's the one. We can get Tanya to go with us and can fill the air with gunpowder residue. But don't forget the nearby TWRA range, which is a measly $8 an hour, but you have to bring everything. You can't rent a gun or buy ammo there.
Name the day and time, I am ready. BF is going tonight, I have to work. We took the intro class Sunday. Going for intermediate on the 19th. One of their stupid .22s bit me.....twice.

Yet I am not the one who needs a gun to feel safe, go figure.
Kinda like the people who go buy dogs for security. Im here to protect not my dog, not the other way around.
How many crimes are commited by license carrying gun-owners? Very few. How many crimes are commited with illegal guns? Most of them. Where do these "illegal" guns come from? The house/car of the license carrying gun-owner.

Please provide objective proof of this statement.
Also, please explain why law-abiding citizens should be punished because of the actions of criminals.

According to what I have read, the MOST common way is unethical street vendors accounting for 27% of crime guns. The 2nd most common way is stolen 15%.

What you have read where? I have read something entirely different, so please provide a link or actual evidence. You made a declarative statement to refute someone's point, but without actual evidence then it has no more validity than an opinion. Not only that, you also put that 'most' crimes are committed with guns stolen from their previous owners, but even by your own dubious figures you can only put the figure at 15%. 'Most' is defined by a percentage of at least 51%, therefore, by your own figures you are dead wrong.
You also completely avoided my question #2, why should I be punished for the actions of a criminal?

So you can fight your way out of a gun fight with your fists... you've been watching to many movies there sport

Bill don't forget that 67% of all statistics are made up on the spot!

The more criminals think we are all armed, the safer we will be.
That's the Archie Bunker school of thought. Another thought could be if the criminals think most are carrying guns it will cause them to shoot first and be more aggressive during a crime.
BS, "an armed society is a polite society".
A Robert Heinlein fan!
Keep your weapons and your clothes where you can find them in the dark.
Bump: I got a Springfield XD9 subcompact today. I'm going to the range this Sunday to test it out (I've shot them before, but not one of my own with 100 rounds at the range).
Can't wait!
The first thing that I have noticed right off in going from a .38 to a 9 mm is the ammunition cost, about 50% cheaper.
