I remembered that Demarcus Ware played for yall, and he was in on another fad of the tweener players, good enough to play outside linebacker and defensive end. Its weird how these fads go. I wonder what the next fad will be, I'm calling QB's who can kick fieldgoals!

No thanks, mine had enough trouble just completeing a pass last year.

Update from NFLSOUP.com
http://nflsoup.com/?p=20110&utm_source=t...um=twitter

Quote:CB Dwight “Bill” Bentley from La. Lafayette is small, but quick and scrappy. Plays a lot more physical than his size would indicate.

Quote:OT James Brown of Troy is one to watch out for. Can bend at the knees and move the defender off of the ball.

RE: SBC @ the Senior Bowl
Wednesday report from DraftCountdown.com

Quote:Arkansas St. OLB Demario Davis has turned out to be a vocal leader amongst his fellow linebackers, organizing pre-practice drills and providing positive reinforcement to James Michael-Johnson when he was struggling. Davis played with better leverage today and did a nice job of staying low, which only served to accentuate his impressive speed, quickness and athleticism. Hall of Famer Mike Singletary complimented Davis during the footwork drills, proving that the extra work he put in paid off. After entering the week as a relative unknown there will likely be a lot of scouts firing up some tape on this guy in the coming weeks.

Quote:Louisiana-Lafayette CB Dwight “Bill” Bentley continues to validate my opinion that he is one of the most underrated players in the 2012 NFL Draft. Bentley is clearly undersized but very instinctive with the ability to stick to receivers like glue down the field. This kid was even able to keep up with Chris Rainey, which is really saying something! Bentley doesn’t profile as a starter at the next level but is going to be an excellent nickel corner for some lucky team.

and unfortunately the not so good reports from yesterday:

Quote:• Troy OL James Brown probably had his worst day of the week. Early on Brown was able to stonewall Tydreke Powell in 1-on-1’s but overall he had trouble keeping his pad level down, which put him at a disadvantage. Brown was basically dominated by Brandon Thompson at times.

Quote:Florida Atlantic FB Alfred Morris was rocked by Jake Bequette in back on backers. Morris didn’t receive very many carries, which limited his chances to showcase his talent, but on the rare occasions when he did get the ball Morris looked hesitant going through the hole.
*note that Morris is listed as a FB

Both squauds were forced to practice indoors today w/ thunderstorms and tornado warnings. It was basically a walk through. So there won't be much good info at all coming out from here on out. Friday is always a walk through day.

Here is a video from the local news channel here in Mobile about Ladarius Green and Alfred Morris returning "home." They are both from Pensacola, about an hour from Mobile.

Also, if you didn't realize or notice, the field they are playing on is USA's home field (for the time being).

Thanks for sharing. I remember Alfred Morris shredding us in 2010, hopefully he gets a good chance somewhere.

I have no idea who I'd take between Rainey, Dunbar or Morris.

Rainey...as a slam dunk. Looking back at this past season...we faced some pretty good backs. Bobby Rainey, Lance Dunbar, Alfred Morris, and Ronnie Hillman. The only one that shredded us...was Rainey. The other 3 were non factors.

This is not the same Rainey. This guy played at Florida.

Edit:You may have already known that. Got confused thinking y'all were Talking about the Rainey at the Senior Bowl.

RE: SBC @ the Senior Bowl
I was a lil worried about Morris playing as a FB, he hasnt done that in 3 years, even though thats how he started at FAU.

It couldnt of been easy getting the call so late and having 0 time to prepare.

I hope he does well, he's a hell of a back that got screwed playing on a God awful FAU team this year.
