Report from the anti-NIU news media that Jerry Kill called Dave Doeren and told him he was sorry for running out on his players and wanted to make it up by leaving Minnesota (unannounced of course) to be Daves OC. He also volunteered to donate out of his own pocket toward the expansion of Huskie Stadium. This news has left Compher overjoyed as he immediately called and put in NIUs application to the Big 12. Joe Novak meanwhile has been silently waiting as he set all of the events up to happen in hopes of becoming the head coach at Minnesota. All of this is, of course, violently protested by the Northern Star quoting that students would rather not have a football team... In other news. The Bears have hired Tim Ruskell to be their GM and the first player he says he's going after is Austin Dantin.

St Joe was behind the scene running of players and coordinating a 2-10 season knowing kill would come in here and do better but it would LOOK like to his credit and get Kill promoted and then Kill would come clean and admit it was all to St Joes credit and St Joe would then replace Kill at Minnesota. Isn't it obvious? #sarcasm
